Meet the Directors
Paul Johnson – Operations Director
Paul joined Faradays as an experienced Electrician in 2000, with a background in the automotive and commercial industries. Paul was introduced to the Petroleum industry and his ability to successfully & efficiently deliver numerous projects simultaneously put him in good stead to become the Faradays’ Operations Director and oversee the smooth running of Faradays limited. Paul also oversees all works in explosive atmospheric environments including Petroleum, LPG, Bio-Methane, Dust installations, EV installations and ANPR systems.
John Hilferty – Sales Director
John joined Faradays as an experienced Electrician in 2002, working previously in the automotive industry at the Ford Transit plant in Southampton. John’s industrial background suited the Faradays set up and a desire to always push himself and build new relationships has made John a natural choice as Sales Director. John currently works in Commercial and Public sectors undertaking projects with large retail outlets and working closely with Blue Diamond Garden Centres and Associated British Ports.
Chris Jewell – Commercial Director
Chris joined the Faradays team in 1998, having previously trained and worked as an Electrician at Robeco. At Robeco Chris was exposed to many industries and different processes which have given Chris a versatile approach when meeting new challenges. Work ethic has been a key to Chris’s achievements at Faradays and his hard work and attention to detail have contributed to his success as Commercial Director. Chris works mainly in the Petroleum and Public sector delivering projects nationwide for large petrol station operators and working locally on school projects.
Meet the Team
Barrie Lowe – Contracts Manager
Barrie joined Faradays as a Contracts Manager in June 2022. With background in renewable energy installations and nine years experience in project management, Barrie has been successfully managing various EV infrastructure and commercial projects. With an eye for detail and precision planning Barrie is delivering quality installations for our prestigious clients.
Nikki Moody – Office Manager
Nikki has been with the company since 2008, since joining Faradays Nikki has become an integral part of the team. Working closely with the Directors in the management team, Nikki oversees all aspects of the Faradays administration process and is responsible for making sure the Faradays finances are in order and the accounts run smoothly.
Anna Pickering – Project Management
Anna joined the Faradays’ team after finishing Southampton Solent University in BA (Hons) Interior Design program in 2014. Anna’s field of expertise is AutoCad 2D Electrical drawings, technical administration, and involvement in projects from conception to completion. Anna’s expertise brings a professional dynamic to our project execution and another level in our design process.
Elina Berzina – Project & Design Coordinator
Elina joined the Faradays’ team in April 2018 taking on the role of Technical Administrator Trainee. Currently Elina works closely with the management team assisting them during various project stages, database management and producing detailed AutoCAD 2D electrical drawings.
