March 2019 Faradays made a pledge to Time to Change to help stop the stigma around Mental Health and have strived over the last 2 years to come up with inative ideas to achieve this.
As a result of our mental health campaign starting back in April 2018, we are now pleased to announce to you all the Gold Sponsorship of Adam’s and Stu’s heroic Atlantic Rowing Challenge 2020, where the pair are aiming to raise £100,000 to support Mental Health charity Minds Matter! After hearing about Adam’s and Stu’s reasons as well as their personal stories of Mental Health struggles they had to overcome Faradays decided that our involvement and sponsorship is essential. We have been supporting various Mental Health platforms within last 2 years and as a result we have managed to change the way our company addresses Mental Health problems by having an open door policy for any of our employees struggling with Mental Health issues.
The Atlantic Rowing challenge will be not only be physically exhausting it will also test Adam and Stu mentally. The pair will be rowing the Atlantic for 3,000 miles trying to beat the record time set in 2017 by finishing the race in 37 days! Despite the fact that Stu and Adam are spending numerous hours of training every day, they are also very busy raising the awareness around Mental Health, visiting local businesses, schools and universities where they talk about Mental Health and share their experiences.
If you would like to aid Stu and Adam, in what can only be described as a challenge of a lifetime, please see links below for information on the Atlantic Rowing Challenge 2020, the charity they are supporting and Stu’s inspirational story of how he has overcome his own mental health problems.
